Baby Fish Update

Culley would like me to update you on her baby brother...

Wow! What a ride the past 8 weeks have been for us. We praise God for His goodness and His absolute sovereignty. We received the final results from our test a couple of weeks ago. The results said, "there was no evidence of a chromosomal abnormality." We are so grateful for all of the prayers that have been said in the last couple of months and we pray that God was glorified in those prayers.

So...the only thing that we have left is some close monitoring of the baby's growth for the rest of the pregnancy. Due to the two-vessel cord, the doctor would like to continue to monitor the growth and development of the baby for the 13 weeks we have left. All that really means is that once a month we will have a sonogram where they will measure and monitor growth. This seems minor when a few weeks ago we were thinking there may be a heart problem, a chance of losing the baby, and a possibility of serious chromosomal issues.

Thank you for all your phone calls and emails and texts. It has been a tremendous blessing to see the body of Christ work to minister to us. We are so grateful to you and to our heavenly Father who created all things.

Blessings!

That's terrific news! Although if anyone would've been great parents to a kid with special needs, you would've ;) Hoping you can now breathe a bit easier and enjoy the rest of your pregnancy.
